This digital hot plate with magnetic stirrer features an aluminum housing with a scratch and chemical resistant stainless steel ceramic coated 6" diameter heating plate. Unit is thermally insulated so the housing is relatively cool to the touch during operation. Designed with double PT sensors, this hot plate also features a digital temperature controller, RPM controller, and time controller, all of which have independent LED displays. Built-in audible alarm at end of time cycle for safety and ease of unsupervised operation. In case of malfunction, display indicates a visual error code for easy diagnosis and resolution. Built-in RS232 port for connection to a computer.
